APC Governorship Candidate In Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Accused Of Laundering N700m, May Be Arrested

The governorship competitor of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is at the danger of being captured in the wake of being blamed for washing N700m.

Ize-Iyamu is blamed close by his individual suspects for taking about N700 million without executing the agreements for which the cash was paid. 

In any case, the court had on July 2 deferred the issue to July 14 because of the nonappearance of Ize-Iyamu, who was supposed to be incapacitated. 

The preliminary had been postponed due to Ize-Iyamu's nonappearance, even as the directing appointed authority, Justice Mohammed Garba, had prior approved the charges against him. 

Minister Osagie Ize-Iyamu is the main respondent in the suit No. FHC/BE21C/2016 recorded by the EFCC, who blamed the litigants for plotting among themselves to submit the offense in March 2015, charging that they collected and control of the assets with no agreement grant. 

The adjudicator dismissed the oral solicitation for a drawn out suspension of the case by the direction to Ize-Iyamu, who contended that his customer won't ignore the request for the court. 

Equity Garba expressed that the last time someone was here, he (the appointed authority) made a request for the blamed individual to show up in court or face capture. 

The blamed people including previous Deputy Governor for Edo State, Mr. Fortunate Imasuen, Mr. Efe Erimuoghae-Anthony, and others are confronting an eight-tally charge of tax evasion to the tune of N700 million intended to indict the 2015 general races.
